Empire has released three new photos from the set of The Martian, directed by Ridley Scott. Matt Damon plays a astronaut named Mark Watney who is stranded on Mars after a mission goes wrong. The movie is based on the award winning novel by Andy Weir. The book made many ‘best of’ lists when it came out last year. If the movie is half as good as the book then it’ll be great. The Martian will be in theaters November 25, 2015
